I loved the shading and colours of this piece. Sitting by a windowsil, we can tell Anya longs for happiness. She sees the world in "black and white" and sees it sad. It talks about suffering and how to overcome obstacles in your way, even if you're just a pup.

Hey, everyone! I've thought long and hard and I'm deciding to make a contest to give back to my awesome watchers.
This is a song contest, which means you can draw any of my dogs with one of the songs listed. You can draw multiple dogs in the pictures if you'd like, and there is no limit as to how many you can submit.
I will be judging on:Detail: 1-10 points
Background: 1-10 points
How fitting song choice is: 1-5 points
The deadline is January 6th at midnight.

DOGS YOU CAN DRAW: Hamlet
Hamlet is a curious and playful puppy, always on the move. He is hardly intimidated by anything, and loves to play with other dogs, regardless of their size.
Astrid
Astrid is an intrepid and determinted pup. She loves exploring and playing with anything she can get a hold of. She loves to sleep but is ready to work when the situation demands it. She is the lead dog.
Hiccup
Hiccup is an intelligent and calm dog that is docile towards humans but is a little suspicious towards other dogs. He becomes more comfortable with them after a few minutes of exposure. He is obedient and loves to please, but can be a bit stubborn when wary. He can be a bit clumsy, but his mate (and lead dog) Astrid puts him in his place.
Basil
Basil is an eager to please pup whose calm demeanor balances out the spunk of the other huskies. He is strong, eager to please, and absolutely loves to run.
Phoenix
Phoenix is a stubborn, confident, and intelligent young dog that likes to be the center of attention. He always wants to be the dominant one.
Raja
Raja is a friendly girl. Although she is a bit of a pushover, she had amazing strength and stamina that surpasses most of the other huskies. She likes to play, and has boundless energy.
Rouge
Rouge is feisty and formidable. this girl will not easily be told what to do. She demands respect constantly, and is not afraid to get her paws dirty pinning down the bigger male dogs.
Jett
Jett is as stubborn as his father, and is large for his age. He is intelligent, and knows what to do to have his way. He loves to play and wrestle with the older dogs (but he is almost always beat).
Sherlock or Noche
Sherlock is stubborn and inquisitive, but very outgoing. Noche is aloof, but gentle. He likes doing his own thing.
Axel
Axel is an energetic boy that loves to please and play with anyone and anything, from a child to a garden hose. ALthough fully grown, he is cheerful and playful like a puppy.
Tanuki
Tanuki is an intelligent and perceptive pup. She is ultra-sensitive to her environment, making her a superb working dog.
Lila
Lila is a calm, sweet dog who is relatively quiet. She plays well with others, but only at the rare occasions when she wants to play. She would much rather enjoy herself at peace.
Sky
Sky is a well-mannered girl, she loves to play with other dogs and thrives when with humans. She hates being alone.
Lupin
Lupin is an athletic girl, as masculine as the other male dogs in our kennel. She loves running in the valleys and will play fetch almost endlessly. She does not start fights, but is not afraid to finish them.
Ghost
Blitz is a quited dog, mostly keeping to himself. He is not aggressive, but would rather play by himself than with other dogs. He loves human attention though, and will cuddle or play fetch endlessly.
Luna
Luna is a playful puppy with a sweet disposition. She's curious and that leads her to trouble, but she's never discouraged. She loves to cuddle, and although she may be a bit bossy sometimes, she is loyal to those around her.
Amy
Amy is a quiet pup, but she is playful once she gets accustomed to the situation. She loves to play fetch and socialize with people.
Odin
Odin is a serious and determined pup. He is eager to learn and intelligent. He is wary of other male dogs, but takes well with females. He is courageous and headstrong.
Martyn
Martyn is intelligent and very passive. He is gentle and playful with all dogs and people. He likes to sleep a lot, but will put all his effort in when it's time to work.
Kaltag
Kaltag is intelligent and agile. Despite his rugged exterior, Kaltag has a heart of gold. He is courageous and loves running through the woods.
Freya
Freya is a headstrong dog. She is calm and quiet, and would rather watch over the others than participate in their rough play.
Anya
Anya is a mellow girl that would rather relax than perform arduous labor. She is obedient, and takes to learning new things rapidly.
Lucia
Lucia is an independent and headstong young Capo. She is friendly and intelligent, but would rather be alone.
